Wablog is a research project on new types of indirect, blurry and calm low tech communication object. Wablog operate a real time avatar allowing people to communicate using movements and signs reduced to the extreme, to signal their presence or to perceive the presence of a person nearby, to leave signals on one of its networks (Twiteer, blogs, Facebook, Flickr, MySpace, Warcraft, etc...). It also allows people to be notified of connections to or comments on these sites. Wablog use the metophore of network Ping to connected people. Wablog is connected to the family computer via wireless networking. Wablog has been designed, produced and developped by Nodesign using Open Source Arduino / Processing Technology (electronic card and rapid prototyping software).

と、思い出した、まるで関係ないけどchumby国内発売されたとき買おうと思ったとき29800円はありえんだろと$200以下で売られているものを何で？、と買わなかった。オーストラリアのリテイラーを見るとそれがAUDの価格だとして若干上乗せあってもそれ程価格差はないのにもかかわらず。1万円分の日本独自仕様があるということなんだろうか、3万だして欲しくはないからいらないけど。
